ANANTARA GRAND HOTEL KRASNAPOLSKY AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The immense and gorgeous rooms with a side view onto Dam Square gave a very luxe and contemporary feel. However, issues with building works and central heating not working in two rooms detracted from the experience. The allocated room was inferior and this was not communicated by the check-in clerk, which was disappointing.

The hotel offers well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds, but there were delays during check-in. The building works and central heating issues affected some rooms. The location is superb for exploring key tourist spots and enjoying the amenities nearby, despite a shabby elevator experience.

I absolutely loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of Amsterdam with everything close by. The staff were cheerful and helpful, making my stay very pleasant. However, the room was a bit of a hassle to get to with multiple lifts, and the noise from the main road could be a bit much at times. Overall, a great experience.

I couldn't have asked for a better hotel! The rooms were spacious and in mint condition, although they lacked some extra toiletries. My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms faced an alley which kept things peaceful and had all the necessary amenities like a mini-bar, walk-in shower, and robes. However, the continuous humming from the vents below was a bit bothersome. The staff provided good service, especially with recommendations for local attractions. The location was ideal, right in the heart of Amsterdam near Dam Square and the Royal Palace although more staff might be needed for such a big hotel. The dining experience was enjoyable with a variety of options, and the facilities were well-equipped.

The hotel is in a prime location, right on the central square with exceptional service from extremely friendly and respectful staff. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. However, the unexpected interruptions and overpriced aspects of the service may deter me from returning.

The hotel rooms are massive and very comfortable, although they require extra cleaning after a chocolate mishap. There was some noise near the lift, as we seemed to be in an annex off the main hotel located near a main road, which can get loud. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Old Amsterdam. The dining experience was fantastic with a great variety of food choices. The facilities were comfortable and well-maintained.
